Music Monday - Explosions in the Sky
Hey everyone! It has been forever since I made a post on here! I’m going to attempt to post in a more regularly fashion. So, to kick it off, here is the first post in a Music Monday series!
This post will feature a recommendation for Explosions in the Sky, one of my new favorite bands. This band is by no means new, they have been creating albums since 2000, however they do have a new album out and their entire catalogue is excellent.
The band features an instrumental sound that is all about dynamics and exploring a range of emotions. So far, I have listened to “The Earth is not a Cold Dead Place”, “All of a Sudden, I Miss Everyone”, and their newest, “Take Care, Take Care, Take Care” (phew, their album titles are much more verbose than their music!). All of these albums are great music for listening to while working since they are instrumental.
